James W. McLeod, DDS – Biography
Dr. McLeod grew up in Tarzana and graduated from William Howard Taft High School. He completed his Undergraduate studies at UCLA, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Psychobiology. His Dental School studies took him to San Francisco where he attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class with numerous awards and distinctions, including election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national Dental Honor Fraternity. After passing his Dental Boards in California, he moved to Texas to undertake the Internship and Residency Program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital, University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas. This program is considered to be one of the premier Oral Surgery Residencies in the country. Upon completion, he followed his roots back to Southern California, entering private practice in Thousand Oaks & Simi Valley.
