Dr. Jacobs and his staff are top notch! My daughter just had all four wisdom teeth extracted and the whole process was easier than expected. The consultation was thorough and Olivia and Dr. Jacobs answered all my questions. The procedure went quick and they let us take as much time as needed in the supervised recovery area, with Soco tending to my daughters every need and request. She was so patient, as well as thorough with follow up instructions regarding home care. Dr. Jacobs assured me that everything went well and I left feeling we made the best possible choice for my daughters care. Monica and Gretchen at the front desk are efficient and so nice. Wonderful Dr. and staff! After going to a consultation with a different Oral Surgeon in Oxnard and tentatively scheduling the procedure, I felt like I needed to explore my options. I wasn’t greeted in a friendly manner, and for me, working in the customer service field, that is extremely important! I don’t want to feel like a number! When I looked online at different reviews for Oral Surgeons, Dr. Jacobs popped up and I immediately emailed his staff to schedule a consultation.
I had emailed 4 other offices, and his friendly receptionist, Monica called me within minutes of sending the inquiry. She was very friendly and fit me in right away. When I arrived for the consult, I was pleasantly surprised as to how clean and orderly the office was. There wasn’t a big crowd of people, I didn’t have to wait 20 minutes to be seen and I was greeted in such a welcoming manner. Once I was checked in with Monica, a few minutes later, Soco the assistant, led me in to a room to ask a few questions before Dr. Jacobs went over my x-rays with me. She was so sweet and made me feel at ease! Dr. Jacobs came in and went through my x-rays more thoroughly than my own Dentist had, and really made it clear as to what would be done with the wisdom tooth procedure. At the end of the appointment, I asked Soco if she would be there for the surgery. She said, sure! So, a few weeks later, I arrived for my procedure, and there was Soco! She made me feel like everything would be okay, and Dr. Jacobs came in and made me feel at ease saying everything would be fine! Before I knew it, the procedure was over with, and I was on my way home to recover. Nearly 4 days later, I am feeling pretty good, not in very much pain, and so happy that all 4 wisdom teeth are out and that I do not have to worry about them causing me any trouble! I appreciate the thorough instructions given after the procedure, and feel like my surgical sites will be healed in no time.

Professional, Honest and Friendly. “After being burned by the previous surgeon I had taken my child too; I was very reluctant to trust another. However, my child needed two dental implants (he had two back molars that never grew in). I got a reference to this doctor. He was nice, professional, honest, and friendly. If I need an oral surgeon in the future I will definitely go here. Wish I would have started here to begin with.”
Painless Tooth Extraction! “First of all, there aren’t enough stars on the rating for Dr. Jacobs. He and his staff are off the scale!! Dr. Jacobs performed an upper tooth extraction on a tooth broken at the gum line without any pain during the procedure and NO painful side effects. At this writing it is two days later and still NO pain and NO bleeding! I usually experience anxiety during the procedure, however, Dr. Jacobs and his great staff made me feel completely at ease and catered to me as a guest and not a patient. The Dr. is a master at administering the deadening shots… this procedure also had no pain. Again, the Doctor and his staff are all great very professionals but most importantly extremely cordial and personable. I absolutely, without any hesitation, highly recommend this professional to anyone who wants to be treated as a person and not a patient! I have never heard of this Doctor prior to being recommended by my dentist so I had no prior experience with him, however, my dentist is great but Dr. Jacobs is even greater! Also, his fees are very reasonable considering the total experience. My wife and I prayed over this procedure in advance and God truly answered our prayers in every way! God bless Dr. Jacobs and his staff!”

He was very professional (not a lot of “small talk” before or after the surgery) and did an excellent job in a timely manner.
